Gameplay
The immediate draw is simple: Power and Glory puts five more cars in your DiRT 3 garage. That is a small addition on paper, but car packs live or die on whether the selection feels varied, and this one does not settle on a single manufacturer or type of machine. The BMW M3, Lancia Delta S4, Ford Focus ST, Scion tC, and Chevrolet Camaro SSX Concept make for a deliberately broad lineup.
The Lancia Delta S4 is the standout name here for rally fans, while the M3, Focus ST, Scion tC, and Camaro SSX Concept keep the pack from feeling like a narrow historical-rally extra. You are getting recognizable cars with different automotive personalities rather than five near-identical variants of one idea. For someone who likes choosing a car as much as running an event, that variety is the point.
Each vehicle arrives with five liveries, for 25 looks across the pack. That is not new content in the same sense as another car, but it gives you room to settle on a favorite version rather than being locked to one finish. If your interest in DiRT 3 begins and ends with its existing roster, this is easy to skip; if you keep returning for more cars to select and customize, it is a tidy expansion.
Graphics
The visual additions are the five vehicles and their alternate liveries. The pack gives you multiple looks for the BMW, Lancia, Ford, Scion, and Chevrolet rather than treating each new car as a single fixed model, which matters when you want your garage to feel a little less repetitive.
Story
Power and Glory is a vehicle add-on, not a narrative detour. Its character comes from the cars themselves: the Delta S4 brings a famous rally name, the M3 and Focus ST are familiar performance-car picks, and the Scion and Camaro concept add a different flavor to the selection.
That focus is appropriate for the pack’s scale. Instead of asking you to invest in a new plot or cast, it gives you fresh reasons to revisit the driving side of DiRT 3 and choose something different before an event.
The best “story” here is your own preference taking shape over time: which badge you gravitate toward, which livery you keep using, and whether the roster feels more complete with these names included. It is light, but it fits a car pack.
Overall Experience
Power and Glory is a sensible, contained DLC pack. It does not pretend that five cars and cosmetic variants are a full new chapter for DiRT 3, yet the selection is broad enough that it feels more considered than a single-marque bundle.
The main frustration is also its limitation: this is an add-on for people already invested in the base game. If new cars alone do not tempt you back into DiRT 3, there is little here to change your mind. There is no grand hook beyond expanding the roster and giving each addition five liveries.
For committed DiRT 3 fans, though, the payoff is straightforward. You get five distinctive automotive names, 25 livery options, and a garage that feels a little more personal. It is also included in DiRT 3: Complete Edition, making that version the cleanest route if you want the expanded car selection.
