GANTZ: The Game

On the 17th of March of 2005, Konami published a game for the PlayStation 2 based on the 2 season Gantz anime series, titled “Gantz: The Game”.

The game features characters and plot up to the Buddha Alien mission (though the vampires and the Shorty Aliens are present) from the anime. The game can be classified as a third-person shooter, although it does have a few RPG (Role Playing Game) elements put together. The game includes extras like, Free Play mode, a “Mini Mode”, Magazine Browser mode, Gantz’ Rankings, a special preview movie and the scenario completion statistic.This game was sadly never released outside of Japan like many Japanese games.
