London Serie Tantei-Dan is played through the eyes of a mischevious orphan, in the game the player get to relive his childhood along with his friend in a stunningly glorius London during the Victorian era that Miyazaki would be proud of. Not as well known as some of its rival in the genre, yet worthy of far more attention.
In the 19th century the city of London is beginning the steam age, the main character (a young boy) begins the game as a homeless boy that is in the streets of London and he goes to an underground sewer and with the help of another little boy they defeat an enemy, after that Everett, a famous detective in London took them to his house as his apprentices.
As Everett’s apprentice the player will have different detective cases in town to solve to solve everyday (there are 19 main chapters in the game with subcases in each chapter). The spirit world is close to enter the human world. Can he save the world using the power of the spirits?
The designs of the game are made by Yasushi Nirasawa, famous for Vampire Hunter D, and character designs for Kamen Rider and Final Fantasy games.
The gameplay is about walking around London and talking to the characters to advance in each case, and there are also some parts when the player have to face enemies and in those parts there are differend kind of attacks to use against them.
