It is the 21st annual installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise. It was released in 2009 for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 and BlackBerry,[3] and for the iOS on September 9 through the App Store.[4]
