Mario Paint BS Ban is a Downloadable Game for the Satellaview that ran between August 3, 1997 and August 30, 1997, 1998. The game is a painting tool and it functions as a pseudo-sequel to the 1992 game, Mario Paint. Between November 2, 1997 and November 22, 1997, the “Mario Paint BS Ban Contest” was held and broadcasts of the game were accompanied by a digital magazine related to the contest. The results of the contest were broadcast between December 28, 1997 and January 31, 1998 in the form of a second digital magazine accompanying the release of Mario Paint BS Ban – Yuushou Sakuhin Naizou Version.
