Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Mortal Kombat Trilogy – MK5 Mortal Kombat , named Mortal Kombat 5 on the final screen, is a bootleg of the fighting genre for the Famicom / Nintendo Entertainment System consoles released by Hosekn of USA between October and November 1998.
This video game is an adaptation of the original Mortal Kombat 3 (1995, Midway ), which briefly displays a title screen with the Mortal Kombat Trilogy logo as soon as the game starts. Most of the music backgrounds are repurposed from the Mortal Kombat V bootleg , and the title screen music is a remixed version of its similar from the fighter selection screen from the original Mortal Kombat arcade (1992, Midway ).
Available characters include Sindel , Liu Kang , Kano , Sonya , Nightwolf , Kung Lao (as Kung-Lao ), Stryker , Sub-Zero, and Shang Tsung (as Shang ). Unlike other Mortal Kombat- based bootlegs , this one in particular features graphic blood effects and a single Fatality for all characters: an uppercut that explodes the character. You may notice a typo in the pre- Fatality announcement. The text ” Finish Him! ” ( Suggested translation: ” Finish it! ” ), Which in English refers to the masculine gender, appears when Sindel is defeated; on the contrary, when Sonya is defeated, the correct text ” Finish Her! ” ( suggested translation: ” Finish her! ” ) appears, which in English refers to the female gender.
The scenarios that appear in Mortal Kombat 5 are The Rooftop , The Temple , Graveyard and Soul Chamber , which sometimes appear with the color palette changed when you face a different character. The end of the game is a screen of congratulations and thanks for playing.
