NHL 17

NHL 17 is the 26th edition in the Electronic Arts’ long-running ice-hockey series. It is the first title in the series to be released exclusively for eighth-generation consoles, having abandoned seventh-generation ones after NHL: Legacy Edition.

New game modes, Draft Champions and World Cup of Hockey, have been added, while the existing Be a GM mode has been revamped and renamed to Franchise Mode. Goalies received improvements to their positional awareness and the Reactionary Save Intelligence system. Customization levels have been increased, with more options added and an Arena Creator introduced, and this is mirrored in the updated EA Sports Hockey League (EASHL) system.
