Nishimura Kyoutarou Travel Mystery: Akugyaku no Kisetsu Tokyo Nanki Shirahama Renzoku Satsujin Jiken

This is a first entry of Kyoutarou Nishimura’s murder mystery stories to PSP platform. You play police inspector trying to find out the culprit to a series or murders. Murders occurred at summer night and are named the “crossbow murders”. Victims are found clutching the photos of women in bikinis in their hand. You will have to find the murder by using your deductive skill as well as track him or her down, and tear down the alibi that seems to be the backbone of a perfect crime.

The game with the same title was released for 3DO in 1994 which used live-cast and photo backdrops, whereas this version does not and instead use silhouette-like characters and CG backgrounds. This is not a remake of 3DO version, just a different way of telling the same story.
