Retro Gamer Adventure

Retro Gamer Adventure is an OpenBOR beat ’em up released in 2019 by Brazilian creator ZVitor. Similar in style to River City Ransom, it features 15 real-life playable characters from YouTube’s gaming community with fully-voiced story sequences in Portuguese. Each character has a special move and costume set that takes inspiration from comics and video game culture. For example, ZVitor himself is playable and has the ability to blast enemies with an infinity stone gauntlet on his hand, donning an Aquaman suit when his power-up meter fills up. The game has great graphics and charming level design, with lots of fun characters to brawl with and against.
