Ridge Racer V: Arcade Battle was produced by Namco in 2001.
An arcade version of Namco’s PlayStation 2 racing game.
Ridge City is holding their road race around the city, and you are ready to take on the challenge. Race against 13 computer opponents, or challenge a friend in this continuation of the Ridge Racer series.
Pick from one of four tracks, including the original Ridge Racer track, and race on tracks in “Ridge City” in one of six high performance cars. The physics are like the original Ridge Racer.
This is the first time that a Ridge Racer game appeared in the arcades since Rave Racer. Most titles in the series up until now appeared on the original Sony PlayStation, with one appearing on the Nintendo 64 under the guise of “Ridge Racer 64.”
