Superhero Sakusen (a.k.a. Super Hero Operations) is an RPG released in 1999 by Banpresto for the Sony PlayStation. The game spawned a sequel, known as Super Hero Operations: Diedal’s Ambition. The game is considered part of the Super Robot Wars series due to the characters Ingram Prisken and Viletta Vadim who originally debuted in the game alongside the mech R-Gun, which later included in Super Robot Wars Alpha.
The theme song for the game was performed by Ichirou Mizuki and Mitsuko Horie.
STORY:
The story is a mix and match of all robot universes, plot events such as Devil Gundam’s appearence from G Gundam or Ultraman blasting away more monsters are mixed beautifully. You can be running from Devil Gundam in a forest and suddenly get stopped by someone like Heero Yui (from Gundam Wing).
GAMEPLAY:
The game plays like a tyical RPG, turn based fighting with the robots against the enemy. Robots and pilots gain experince points.
