Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6

Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 is the tenth game in the Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune racing series based on the Wangan Midnight manga. In this racing game players have access to over 80 car models from thirteen Japanese and international manufacturers. This title introduces Porsche for the first time along with several new vehicles from other manufacturers as well, replacing RUF. Races take place on actual urban expressways of Japan such as C1, Hanshin Expressway Loop Line and Fukuoka Urban Expressway. The cabinet’s controls are designed to resemble a real car with a steering wheel, accelerator, brakes and six-speed transmission.

The arcade setup consists of four units that are used for local versus multiplayer in the VS Player mode. Players can also race online ghosts from past performances by real players in the Online Ghost VS Battle. This is a new mode for the series, with up to three ghost simultaneously. In the game’s Story Mode 100 original episodes of Wangan Midnight are revisited where races are interspersed with story sequences. In Time Attack players race alone and times are compared with other players countrywide. As with previous titles in the series gameplay data can be saved using a physical BANAPASSPORT Card to keep the progress saved. Cars can be customized in various ways.
