I made a Gameboy camera with a detachable lens. It’s more of a novelty but the project was easy and reversable (no soldering or cutting required, the new parts are 3D printed) . The game is so slow that you need to wait a few seconds for your actions to appear on the screen. But it does make your crappy 0.01434 megapixel images look slightly less crappy.
