I remember when this game came out there was A LOT of people that wernt happy with the turn based mechanics being taken out. But, I love this game! One of my favorite platformers and it’s got such a unique mechanic for a platforming game. It seems as time goes on this game is more and more liked overall and I cannot wait to pop this guy in tonight! 👍

This was the first paper Mario I ever played so I didnt have anything to compare it too. I thought it was great fun and I liked the flipping mechanic.
Paper Mario is my favourite series of Mario. Right now I am playing Origami king😉
I’m not a fan of turn based mechanics. This was a great game and it still holds up.
The idea was to be a Super Mario game with the Paper Mario theme incorporated, as a hybrid but people mixed it up and thought it was the other way around… like it was supposed to just be the next normal Paper Mario game… and it did what they wanted to do for sure. Amazing game!

Could be the best story in a Mario game ever. Second only to SMRPG of course.

I missed that whole era of Mario and Zelda games, god damned WoW. Lol
I beat the heck out of the game I only did the one secret 100 level grind and also missed out on finding the hidden village area.
I loved paper mario for n64 but haven’t played any of the others
