1. Morph was created for the TV show in 1992. This is not the same Morph from the 1960’s. His first appearance is in 1992’s X-Men Adventures #1 which came out after the cartoon.
2. No one ever called Morph non binary or talked about his sexuality in the old cartoon.
3. No one ever called Mystique non binary or talked about her sexuality in the old cartoon.

Actually morph has been around since the late 60s, he was originally called the changeling and was a villain, some time passed and he found out that he was terminally ill and turned to Xavier for redemption, he died after taking a bullet while posing as Xavier, so everyone thought the real Xavier had died. He was resurrected for the 90s cartoon as morph because DC had a character named changeling and they didn’t want there to be any confusion.
Being nonbinary isn’t about sexual preference, and if you don’t realize the whole premise of the X-Men is about how society treats it’s outcasts then I pity you…

My goodness for the love of God, can you people make “ONE SINGLE THING” without pushing this garbage? This is why Disney is continously failing. Figure it out. We want X-Men, “Super Hero’s” and entertainment, not politics & propaganda.

I love the original X-Men cartoons from the 90s but Disney turns everything into s*** so I will be skipping this.
When people can’t write compelling characters, they substitute representation.
I mean the whole point of the xmen is they were an allegory for different people. They weren’t allowed to include such stuff in the 40s 50s 60s

It’s X-Men 97’… so, does it take place in 1997? Does it take place in modern times? If it takes place in 97′, terms like Non-Binary weren’t really a thing.
I’d it takes place in 2024 (don’t know how or why), then 100% at least one of the characters would be Non-Binary. It’s X-Men, they always talked about minorities and those who were castrated by society.
Even Magneto’s Side would have someone who is Non-Binary. I don’t think Magneto himself would think too much of it, but his goal was ultimately to conquer the world for mutants.
This isn’t the old cartoon and it’s a new continuity get over and grow up.
Problem is the original show was good and also made a statement about racism and bigotry, these things are not woke. Now however, they’re using the show as a vehicle to push their current political and social world view without caring if they make a good show or not. Thats why it sucks now because they care more about “the message” than making a good show and they’ll use every opportunity to shove it down your throat.
I was hoping this show would be good , but looks like it’s gonna be be a huge dumpster fire. Looks like Disney is gotta destroy another classic
