Spiraling Back to “Gyruss” on the NES. Does anyone else remember this game?
My first encounter with “Gyruss” for the Nintendo Entertainment System was in the early ’90s at a friend’s house—Frank Thomas was the name—and it’s a gaming session I remember fondly. Fast forward to today, and with a mix of nostalgia and determination, I’ve revisited this classic shooter, finally seeing the ending that eluded me as a kid. Check out both the review and entire longplay of this game over @ [https://retro-replay.com/gyruss-nes-1988-longplay/](https://retro-replay.com/gyruss-nes-1988-longplay/?fbclid=IwAR1HLaFuLANA0OOx4SxFg5kIfSgBe8y6E1BsUgpwc8oDwbcqo1gaOb-AZag)

My fav
Played hours of it…very fun!
I just played it on arcade in the early 80th..
And never played the NES Version, sorry.
Loved NES Gyruss. They took a great arcade game and made it even better for the home version!
Got my copy
An arcade favorite of mine. Never saw it on a console. I still play it today via MAME and have beaten it finally. Great game.
One of my favorites on the Commodore 64
