Up until about half an hour ago, Big the Cat’s fishing in the middle of me thoroughly enjoying Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast back in ’99 was the least amount of fun I’ve ever had in a video game.
Now after 25 years it’s finally been beaten by “slowly tugging an empty tin can on a string to lure some chickens back to their chicken coop” in FF7 Rebirth.
It’s not hard, it’s the worst kind of tedious. You know what to do and how to do it but the act of doing so is painstakingly slow and mind numbing boring.
At least it leads to a satisfying ending for the chickens. iykyk 😏
Anyway, aside from this one particular side quest I’ve got very little bad to say about Rebirth, it’s been a fantastic experience so far and I can’t wait to see how it plays out.
