My cousin and I as kids thought this was one of the best co-op games on the SNES. Now as an adult, it’s too hard!

I wouldn’t consider it a shoot em’ up, more of a vertical run n’ gun, like Guerrilla War, Jackal. More in the Contra or Metal Slug, family of gameplay etc.

Got the switch version. It is pretty hard but also kinda fair. You kinda have to know the ins and outs of the game and it will become easier.
The sound track is mint.
Yes. I had both P&R 1 & 2. It was the best looking game for the SNES in 1993. It was extremely difficult and the last boss will drive you insane. The sequel had better graphics and gameplay and the difficulty level was a lot ‘milder’ than the first game. You should try Pocky & Rocky: Reshrined for the Switch, it has a completely overhauled graphics and a bit different level design, but still a great game
Still have my copy it’s one of my favourite games
I used an emulator to play this game on my PSP and thought that it was good. Yeah I get to stage two and got a game over, but I don’t get mad.
