Crazy Story Alert! 🚨

So a few weeks back I posted a Manchester United special edition gameboy I had for sale on one of the collector groups, and another collector jokingly said if the gameboy was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson himself???, due to the price (which it ended up selling for).

It got me thinking! I’d love to get one of my other boxed Manchester United Gameboys signed and if there’s any one legend that screams Manchester United then it’s the Greatest Football Manager of All Time, Sir Alex Ferguson himself. So I thought my miscellaneous / long shot collecting goal for the future is to get one of my Manchester United Boxed gameboys signed by the legend that is Sir Alex Ferguson. Pretty much an impossible task I know, but I had faith that somehow it may be possible. I am a Manchester United fan after all, we cling onto ‘hope’ a lot nowadays 😭

Luckily, I heard that SAF had moved close to my workplace, so I took my boxed gameboy and stored it in the workplace safe in hope that maybe one day I may run into him or someone who knows him 🤣

Fast forward just 3 weeks later, and which legend have I just seen walk past my workplace?
SIR ALEX FERGUSON!!!

Such a surreal moment – he had the time to sign my Manchester United Special Edition Gameboy, take a photo and even chat for a few moments.

I think I’ve officially completed game collecting. 🙋🏻‍♂️
