Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself and share a photo I took! I understand you have to be 30 and up, however I’m 23, but I have a huge appreciation for retro gaming to the point where it became an obsession. Currently on the hunt for Working Designs games and overall build my collection! Huge on collecting for Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, and PlayStation!
This post has been captured from our very own retro gaming group over at FB
The Saturn Action Replay is a sweet edition. I have a Satiator, myself. Next up, you should aim for a TurboGrafx-16 paired with the Turbo Everdrive Pro. I also noticed you’re using the SCART cables. Nice!
Retro love at any age!
Sewer shark, and jurassic park for sega cd were ahead of their time
I just want that PVM
Same I’m 30 thought it was for old classic systems found it different when I joined
Great TV
Welcome! Nice set up!!
I never even noticed it said over 30 😂
I don’t get the age thing, younger people are really into the hobby too which is great. I’m 33 and my brother is 26 and he is even more into retro than me he has nearly every system and a great collection.
had a similar setup back in the day, it’s much expanded now
Theres probably many in this group thats are under 30, myself included. So its fine
I’ve only seen those racks in workplaces how’d you get yours? Very nice 👍🏻
i thought the “over 30” in the group named referred to systems older than 30 years 😂
I also always thought it was for ages 30 and up.🤣
I didn’t know it’s for over 30 😅 I welcome all retro gamers, no matter age.
Honestly I didn’t know it was for over 30 I’m only 20 so
You didn’t get your ID checked at the door?
Digging the sega collection
Welcome fellow Sega collector.
I’m offended that the SNES is the only one not plugged in… How dare you! 😏
Honestly, it’s nice to see someone so young that “understands the assignment”. There is a golden era of gaming to unpack for a whole new generation and doing it right requires dying knowledge of the displays, systems and cables that we used. Everything now is plugging in one cable and getting 1080p-2160p without any effort. Understanding why the Genesis, for example, looks better through an ancient glass tube at 240p than it does on a modern LCD or OLED is the sauce that’s worth spending your time on!
