It’s getting close to tax time and I’d like to pick up some older games I once had and loved for collection purposes. I’m wondering what I should watch out for when it comes to fakes and stuff. I found a GBA Breath of Fire 2 I’d like to bid on and it seems fine from the pictures but I don’t know what I need to watch out for. I think on PS1 games it’s Y folds and stuff? I attached the images of the GBA game I’m thinking about. Only really wanting to buy sealed and not damaged stuff so I already know they will be expensive. Any help is appreciated.

  1. Ive bought a lot of games online, and my sincere advice is: follow your instincts, period. If you dont have peace of mind, dont do it. Other than that, ask questions, ask for more pictures. Ive found that legitimate sellers are responding and providing anything youre asking for.

  2. From how my sealed GBA games look, this appears legit. I have a CIB BoF2 as well (I bought new when it released), and all of the artwork and everything looks spot on. If it is a fake, it’s well done.
