Red Skull and Hydra are trying to take over the world! Grab up to four players and team up as one of dozens of Marvel’s most powerful superheroes to stop them, in Marvel First Alliance 2.

This 16-bit beat ’em up was released in 2014 by ZVitor, a popular designer from Brazil who created the game using the OpenBor engine project. It features dozens of playable characters that are unlocked after each level in the Story mode. Finish the game and unlock numerous other modes, like a Spider-Man and Carnage scenario, X-Men and Apocalypse, or harder difficulties. The game plays like the traditional side-scrolling brawlers from the arcades with unique special abilities and power-ups, and adds some modern updates to the mix, like NPC-controlled heroes joining you during the fight and situation-specific characters available according to the story.
