Azahar 2125.0 Alpha 1 has been released as an open-source 3DS emulator based on Citra. Key updates include a disk shader cache for the Vulkan renderer, which reduces stutter by retaining compiled shaders across launches. The update also fixes issues with cheat lists and local play, offers minor optimizations to memory usage, and addresses rare crashes related to custom textures. A new debug setting for display refresh rate detection is enabled by default, though disabling it is not recommended. Additional fixes pertain to application name shortcuts on Windows. Downloads are available for both x64 and Android versions.

Azahar 2125.0 Alpha 1 has been released. It is an open-source project for a 3DS emulator powered by Citra.
Azahar changelog:
Highlights include:
A disk shader cache has been implemented for the Vulkan renderer using .vkch files. | @PabloMK7 #1725 #1748
These cache files track compiled shaders, eliminating the need for recompilation during subsequent launches, thus reducing stutter that arises from shader compilation after your initial playthrough.
These cache files can also be transferred between devices to enhance performance.
Resolved an issue where viewing the cheat list or launching a game without cheats would mistakenly display the cheats from the previous game. | @Fs00 #1640
Minor fixes for local play in Luigi’s Mansion 1 and Download Play applications. | @lannoene #1690
Optimizations have been made to the Vulkan renderer, slightly decreasing its memory consumption. | @PabloMK7 #1710
Desktop
Fixed a rare bug where the emulator might attempt to load custom textures, even when disabled, leading to crashes. | @coolguy1842 #1629
Addressed an issue where some setting tooltips lacked automatic line breaks. | @OpenSauce04 #1718
A new debug option “Enable display refresh rate detection” has been added. | @OpenSauce04 #1726
This option is enabled by default and prevents Azahar from trying to detect the display’s refresh rate when selecting its preferred Vulkan presentation mode. Disabling this may slow down emulation on certain displays, so itโs advisable to keep it enabled unless you’re experienced.
Windows
Fixed a problem where certain characters in application names could get corrupted when creating desktop shortcuts. | @RedBlackAka
