Azahar Git (2026/02/24) is an open-source 3DS emulator project based on Citra. Recent updates include improvements in CMake, such as conditional inclusion of the Catch2 library for tests, and enhancements to the libretro core, which defaulted system type to New 3DS. It also featured safety and failure checks for Vulkan device features, adjustments for older tvOS hardware, and better file IO handling for Vulkan shader disk caches.
