clownmdemu v1.6.1, a Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) emulator, has been released and is still in early development. It can run some games, but lacks many standard Mega Drive features. The latest update includes additional resolutions for the widescreen hack, allowing Sonic 1 Widescreen and Sonic 1 Blastless DX to be played at their intended resolutions. For more details, users can check the TODO file. The emulator is available for download in version 1.6.1.

clownmdemu v1.6.1 has been released. This is the clownmdemu, an emulator for the Sega Mega Drive (also known as Sega Genesis). It is presently in the very early phases of development: it can run some titles, but numerous core features of the Mega Drive remain unemulated (refer to clownmdemu-frontend-common/clownmdemu/TODO.md for further details).
