Clownmdemu v1.6.7, a Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) emulator, has been released, still in early development. It can run some games, but lacks many standard Mega Drive features. The latest version includes fixes for right-aligned Window Plane rendering and adds multitap emulation, enabling multiplayer functionality for games like Mega Bomberman and Sonic Classic Heroes. It supports Sega’s Team Player for up to 8 players and Electronic Arts’ 4 Way Play for up to 4 players. For more details, refer to the changelog and available downloads for clownmdemu v1.6.7.

clownmdemu v1.6.7 has been released. This is clownmdemu, an emulator for the Sega Mega Drive (also known as Sega Genesis). It’s still in the early stages of development: while it can run some games, many core Mega Drive features are not yet emulated (see clownmdemu-frontend-common/clownmdemu/TODO.md for details).
