clownmdemu v1.6.9 has been released, an early-stage Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) emulator capable of running some games, though many features are still unemulated. Key updates include fixes for loading ZIP files, screen scaling issues, and disappearing screens at small window sizes. Enhancements consist of a zoom-to-fill option, tooltips for drop-down selections, and H-scroll/V-scroll visualization in plane viewers. clownmdemu v1.6.9 has been released. This is clownmdemu, a Sega Mega Drive (also known as Sega Genesis) emulator. Currently, it is in the early stages of development: while it can run some games, many of the standard Mega Drive features are not yet emulated (refer to clownmdemu-frontend-common/clownmdemu/TODO.md for further details).

Resolved issues with dragged-and-dropped ZIP files not loading properly.
Introduced a zoom-to-fill option (#55).
Fixed the issue of the screen disappearing at smaller window sizes when integer screen scaling is activated.
Corrected integer screen scaling to ensure it performs accurately when the console’s resolution is set to 256×224 or 256×240.
Enabled tooltips to display when selecting options from a drop-down menu.
Incorporated H-scroll/V-scroll visualisation in the plane viewers (#54).
Added window icons for all platforms (no longer exclusive to Windows).
