clrmame v0.5.1 has been released. A handy tool for scanning and rebuilding MAME (https://www.mamedev.org/) machine sets.
clrmame changelog:
UI:
– new: context menu options to transfer compatible settings from the current Scanner to Rebuilder ‘profile’ and vice versa. This option is accessible only when no scan (or rebuild) job is in progress. Not all options can be transferred; refer to documentation for mapping details.
– new: context menu options to link Scanner and Rebuilder, enabling synchronization of XML/EXE between them when one is changed, provided both are configured first using the aforementioned transfer option. This works only if the other module isn’t currently active.
– misc: combo box improvements; hold CTRL while clicking X to additionally remove the current entry from the list when clearing input. No more empty entries in the dropdown; use X instead if you prefer an empty selection.
Core:
– fixed: 7z, addFiles(from, to) was restricted to unique from files, meaning multiple additions from the same source (a->b, a->c) resulted in skipped file creation.
– fixed: rebuilder, the deletion of rebuilt unpacked files was failing during archive creation.
– fixed: rebuilder, some destination files were skipped when a matched file was referenced multiple times in the source machine XML.
– misc: additionally provide machine name when renaming ROMs/disks/samples due to issues in dat.
