Clrmame v0.6.1 has been released, enhancing the MAME machine set management tool. Key additions include a non-merge mode and a dir2dat option for adding MD5 values to ROMs. The update also fixes several issues: a rebuilder problem with shared ROMs, a scanner limitation in fixing missing files across different machines, and errors related to incorrectly named machine archives and folders. Additionally, the hash getter was reorganized for better algorithm integration, and the UI introduced non-merge mode and options for MD5 value inclusion. Miscellaneous updates include spdlog version 1.17.0. More details are available on the official site.

clrmame v0.6.1 has been released. A handy tool for scanning and rebuilding MAME (https://www.mamedev.org/) machine sets.
clrmame changelog:
Core:
– added: non-merge mode
– added: dir2dat, with an option to append md5 values to roms
– fixed: rebuilder, resolved a rare issue where a fully copied archive could block copying a single shared rom from another set (kof2k4se/kf10thep *.m1.bin)
– fixed: scanner, addressed a problem where a scan (not a new scan) couldn’t recover missing files from another machine that also shared the missing file and was otherwise valid (hence not included in the scan)
– fixed: scanner, when the name check identifies a wrongly named machine archive and misnamed (chd) machine folder, it incorrectly treated one as unneeded instead of both as misnamed
– fixed: dir2dat, adjustments to ensure all extensions are removed correctly. Now aligned with cmpro.
– misc: reorganized hash retrieval to facilitate easier integration of different hash algorithms
– misc: updated spdlog to version 1.17.0
UI:
– added: selection for non-merge mode in rebuilder/scanner
– added: dir2dat option for including md5 values
– fixed: redraw issue during grabbing, leaving the dialog and releasing the mouse button
