DOSBox Optionals SVN r4476 (Optionals v25) has been released, targeting Windows OS as an MS-DOS, Windows ’95, and ’98 emulator forked from DOSBox. Key updates include a revised help intro, new menu icons, and changes to hotkeys. The debug window screen was fixed, and a broken exotic screen mode in DOS was corrected. Several pointless log messages were removed, and a major issue related to HDD creation was resolved. Additionally, a bug with floppy image mounts was fixed, and the window console size was modified. This build was created using GCC version 7.2.0. Download is available.

Release of DOSBox Optionals SVN r4476 (Optionals v25) is now available. DOSBox Optionals serves as an emulator for MS-DOS, Windows 95, and 98, derived from DOSBox and designed for Windows OS.

Updated Help (Intro text), Menu (Small Icon in the Top Left Corner of the Window), and introductory text for certain machines.
Reworked and streamlined the hotkeys.
Fixed the debug window display. Corrected a malfunctioning exotic screen mode in DOS with GL-View.
Eliminated several unnecessary log messages.
Resolved an issue with creating HDDs that was overlooked in the last update.
Corrected a bug that occurred with floppy image mounts.
Adjusted Window Console Size.
Note: Build Version indicates 9 August but is up to date.
