DOSBox-Staging Repository (February 23, 2026)

DOSBox-Staging Git (2026/02/23) is a modernized version of the DOSBox project, enhanced with current development practices and tools. Key updates include re-enabled portamento handling for FluidSynth, improved handling of LOCK with prefixes, and resolutions of PVS warnings. The API now provides better control over allocation strategies and allows toggling between legacy and modern cycles settings. Additionally, the cycles setting has transitioned to use a string property instead of PropMultiVal. The reformatting of code and adoption of the MOUNT command for auto-mounting CD images have also been implemented. Download available for x64 version.
