DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, providing sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, and other capabilities essential for running numerous classic MS-DOS games that cannot be played on modern PCs and operating systems like Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, and FreeBSD.
