DSAdvance v1.9 has been released, enhancing Xbox gamepad emulation for devices like the Sony DualSense, DualShock 4, and Nintendo Pro controller. Key features include tilt-based driving for retro games, touchpad stick emulation, and improved keyboard and mouse capabilities. The update introduces steering wheel emulation and parameters for wheel settings in game profiles. Desktop control is now easier, allowing seamless switching between games and Windows. The launcher includes options for the HidHide utility to manage gamepad visibility, as well as enhanced adaptive trigger effects for the DualSense. Updated retro game profiles are also part of the release.

DSAdvance v1.9 has been released, featuring advanced Xbox gamepad emulation for the Sony DualSense, DualShock 4, Nintendo Pro controller, or Joy-Cons. The software supports aiming and driving through gamepad tilting, stick emulation on the touchpad, keyboard and mouse emulation, as well as external pedals, relying on the ViGEm driver.
DSAdvance Changelog:
Introduced steering wheel emulation (gamepad tilt driving) for retro games. When tilting the gamepad, the D-Pad buttons left or right are replicated—the corresponding buttons are set within the game profile. Game profiles now feature parameters such as: wheel dead zone SteeringWheelDeadZone and wheel release percentage after tilt SteeringWheelReleaseThreshold.
Desktop control has been transitioned to a separate mode for easier access while playing retro games. You can now enjoy both regular and retro games without needing a keyboard or mouse, while still having the ability to manage both the game and Windows seamlessly.
The launcher now provides options for the HidHide utility, including: hiding the gamepad from games and applications (you must mark your gamepad once in Devices HideHide), adding and removing applications and games from exceptions.
Adaptive trigger modes for the Sony DualSense gamepad have been updated. Enhancements have been made for pistols, rifles, bows, and car pedals, with a dedicated mode for the bow now available.
Retro game profiles have also been refreshed.
