Package Updates: Multiple Microsoft-related NuGet packages (Data.Sqlite, Extensions, CodeAnalysis) have been upgraded to their most recent patch versions (for instance, from 10.0.1 to 10.0.2).
Long Path Support: Improved file and directory existence checks in GameLauncher.cs and PathHelper.cs by specifically managing the long-path prefix (\\?\). This enhancement ensures compatibility across various drive types (local, network, removable) and paths longer than 260 characters.
Shortcut Validation:
Streamlined .URL file launching to only check protocol handlers (like steam://) if the target is a valid URI. This avoids misidentifying drive letters (e.g., C:\) as protocols.
Enhanced error logging for shortcuts by stopping the app from reading binary content from .LNK files during errors.
Thread Safety: Introduced lock mechanisms in DownloadManager.cs surrounding the CancellationTokenSource to guarantee that starting, canceling, and disposing of downloads is thread-safe.
