FB Alpha Shuffle Version 2.4.0 (January 30, 2026)

FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0, released on January 30, 2026, is an unofficial version of FBA with enhanced features. Key updates include an AVI recorder, input macros, and support for translated game names. Users can import game names from MAMEP.lst, and new IPS v4 support has been added. FB Alpha Shuffle Features:
– Introduced AVI recording and input macro capabilities. [Gangta, emufan]– Added support for a translated game name list in the game selection dialog. – Integrated IPS v4 support from MAMEPlus!. (Thanks to Emuman, emufan)

– Enabled functions for selecting background images and random images.
– Established options for setting miscellaneous paths and refining UI for the game selection dialog.
– Implemented save preset and save default input mapping, with configuration saved in config/presets.
– Added custom images in the .\res folder; feel free to replace them with your preferred images.
– Introduced score, select, game over, and boss snapshots to the game selection dialog.

You can modify the “user-filter” value in fbas.xml to define your filter string, separated by semicolons.

– Updated the emulator to no longer rely on kailleraclient.dll.
You can place kailleraclient.dll in the same directory as the emulator if netplay is desired.
– Adjusted all romsets to align with MAME Plus!.
– Removed many infrequently used features from the official FBA.
