FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0, released on February 26, 2026, is an unofficial FBA-based emulator featuring several enhancements. Key updates include: an AVI recorder, input macros, and a translated game name list in the selection dialog. It supports IPS v4, MAMEPlus! image menus, and offers functionality for importing from MAMEP. New features also include customizable images, cheat loading from zip/7z archives, and game filters. FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0 (2026/02/26) has been released. FB Alpha Shuffle is an unofficial variant based on FBA that includes numerous features.
Features of FB Alpha Shuffle:
– Introduced AVI recorder and input macros. [Gangta, emufan]– Added support for a translated game name list in the game selection dialog. [Sho, 800]You can import game names from mamep.lst while exporting the game list (place mamep.lst in the directory of fbas.exe or in the config folder).
– Integrated IPS v4 support from MAMEPlus! (Thanks to Emuman, emufan).
– Included an image menu from MAMEPlus! (Thanks to Emuman, kkez).
– Enabled selection of background images and random image functions.
– Enhanced the UI for the game selection dialog and allowed setting of miscellaneous paths.
– Implemented options for saving presets and default input mappings, stored in config/presets.
– Provided some custom images in the .res folder; feel free to replace them as desired.
– Added display scores, selection, gameover, and boss snapshots to the game selection dialog.

You may place kailleraclient.dll in the same folder as the emulator for netplay.
– Adjusted all romsets to align with MAME Plus! standards.
– Removed several rarely-used features from the official FBA version.
