FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0, released on November 1, 2025, is an unofficial version of FBA with numerous enhancements. Key features include an AVI recorder, input macros, and support for MAME’s translated game names. Users can import game names, save presets, and customize input mapping. The update adds new visual elements, filters for game selection, adjustable emulation speeds, and a jukebox for certain game types. – Implemented functionality for selecting background images and random images.
– Improved UI and added miscellaneous paths in the game selection dialog.
– Enabled saving presets and default input mappings, stored in config/presets.
– Included some custom images in the .\res folder, which you can replace as desired.
– Added displays for score, selection, game over, and boss snapshots in the game selection menu.
