FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0 (released on 2025/09/01) is an unofficial version of FBA with enhanced features. Key updates include an AVI recorder, support for translated game names, and IPS v4 support. It allows importing from MAME and includes an image menu, customizable backgrounds, and improved UI. Users can save presets, manage favorites, and apply filters during game selection. Enhancements also feature adjustable emulation speeds, a jukebox for specific games, and support for multiple audio/video output options. FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0 (2025/09/01) has been released. FB Alpha Shuffle is an unofficial release based on FBA, featuring numerous enhancements.
FB Alpha Shuffle Features:
– introduced AVI recorder and input macros. [Gangta, emufan]– incorporated support for translated game name lists in the game selection dialog. – added display features for score, select, game over, and boss snapshots in the game selection dialog.

You can modify the “user-filter” value in fbas.xml to define your filtering string, separating values with semicolons.

You can place kailleraclient.dll in the same directory as the emulator if you wish to enable netplay.

– removed many rarely used features from the official FBA.
