Igir Changelog:
This update resolves several user-reported bugs and implements feature requests.
Feature: –patch-only option
This feature permits you to write only the patched ROMs, bypassing all others.
Special thanks to @noah978 for the suggestion!
Feature: –trim-scan-files
This option allows you to either always or never scan files that are not within archives. Using –trim-scan-files never can enhance your processing speed if you’re certain there are no trimmed ROMs present.
Thanks to @HeroponRikiBestest for this suggestion!
Feature: manage region variants for {emulationstation} and {romm}
Certain ROM frontends distinguish between regional variants for consoles, such as:
NEC PC Engine vs. TurboGrafx
Nintendo NES vs. Famicom
Sega Genesis vs. Mega Drive
Igir will strive to select the correct variant based on DAT information.
