Igir v4.3.2 has been released. This zero-setup ROM collection manager allows you to sort, filter, extract, or archive, patch, and report on collections of any size across all operating systems.
Igir Changelog:
This update resolves several bugs and incorporates user-requested features.
Feature: –patch-only option
This option enables you to write only the patched ROMs, omitting all others.
Special thanks to @noah978 for the recommendation!
Feature: –trim-scan-files
This setting allows you to always or never scan files not contained within archives. Using –trim-scan-files never can significantly enhance your processing speed if you’re sure you don’t have any trimmed ROMs.
Appreciation to @HeroponRikiBestest for their suggestion!
Feature: manage region variants for {emulationstation} and {romm}
Certain ROM frontends differentiate regional versions of consoles, including:
NEC PC Engine vs. TurboGrafx
Nintendo NES vs. Famicom
Sega Genesis vs. Mega Drive
Igir will strive to select the correct variant based on DAT information.
