jgenesis v0.11.4 has been released. This cross-platform multi-console emulator supports various 8-bit and 16-bit gaming systems, including Sega Genesis, Sega CD, SNES, Master System, and Game Gear.
jgenesis Changelog:
New Features
Introduced support for SG-1000 emulation
(Sega CD) Now includes support for CD-ROM images that contain audio tracks in WAV format, requiring WAV files to have 44100 Hz 16-bit stereo samples (matching CD-DA)
(Sega CD) Added compatibility for CD-ROM images using MODE1/2048 format for data tracks (applicable to most CUE/ISO/WAV images)
Improvements
(NES) Increased saturation slightly in the default color palette and its generator (previously caused by a bug in NTSC-to-YUV conversion)
Sinc audio interpolation now employs much higher precision for the step between input samples, potentially enhancing audio quality for systems with elevated internal sample rates (primarily GB/GBC and NES)
Fixes
(Sega CD) The CD-ROM image reading process now avoids validating CD-ROM EDC sector checksums; this resolves issues with certain game hacks (e.g., the Vay random encounter reduction hack) (#614)
(GB) Corrected the MBC1 mapper code which had issues with ROM banks where the lower 5 bits are zero while the upper bits are not (#615)
(GB) Resolved issues in the MBC2 mapper code that was not appropriately ignoring the upper 4 bits during reads/writes in all instances (#616)
