JoyToKey v7.2.0 has been released. This program serves as a keyboard emulator for joysticks. It translates joystick input into keyboard and mouse commands. Utilize it for applications that donโt support joystick controls. You can even navigate Word, Excel, and more using joysticks!
Key Features:
* Configuration for up to 16 joysticks.
* Multiple configuration files
Create several configuration files and select them whenever needed.
* Supports many useful functions…
o Automatic button firing
o Mouse emulation (including wheel input)
o “Adjust mouse movements” function
When activated, mouse movement (or wheel rotation) speeds up (or slows down).
* “Switch to another configuration file” function
Easily switch to and enable another configuration file using a designated button.
* “Temporarily use settings of another joystick number” function
(Similar to the “shift” command in SNESKey. For instance, you may use joystick1 for keyboard emulation, but while this button is held down, joystick3โs settings (which might emulate a mouse or similar) will be temporarily active. Note that joystick3 is not an actual joystick; it is a virtual device.)
JoyToKey Changelog:
Enhanced key code emulation for the Pause/Break key, and added an alternative key code (available from the right-click menu).
When button assignments are altered due to the SHIFT function or profile switching, there’s a feature to ignore already pressed inputs “for a specified time.” This feature has been improved to also allow it to ignore inputs “until pressed again.”
Added “Tab” key to the right-click assignment menu.
Bug fix: Resolved an issue where the same button definition triggered from multiple buttons (e.g., Button[20] being activated by both LT and RT) didnโt release at the expected time.
Bug fix: Addressed an occasional display problem when the “Options” tab was selected.
