Key2Joy v0.8.0-alpha.c929d23c5f has been released. You can simulate a Joystick/Controller/Gamepad using your keyboard, mouse, or other input methods. Beyond simply simulating a button press on the Joystick, you also have the option to write Javascript and Lua scripts for executing more intricate sequences of actions.
