MAMEUI v0.280 has been released, serving as the GUI version of the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator (MAME), which aims to document arcade game hardware and code. Initially created by Chris Kirmse in 1997, MAMEUI (formerly Mame32) was the first MAME port for Windows.

MameUI [formerly known as Mame32] is the graphical user interface version of the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator, a software designed to document the internal hardware and programming of all arcade games. Originally developed in 1997 by Chris Kirmse, it was the first version of Mame™ for the Windows operating system.
