melonDS Git (2025/08/10) is an open-source emulator for the Nintendo DS, released as part of a second wave of DS emulators. It features a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, along with a JIT recompiler for fast performance and OpenGL support for 3D upscaling. Additional features include RTC, microphone support, joystick support, savestates, and various display options. Work is ongoing for local multiplayer and online connectivity, DSi emulation, GBA slot add-ons, and more. The latest changelog notes updates related to BSD compatibility.
