melonDS is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a second wave of DS emulator projects. The latest version, melonDS Git (2025/12/10), features a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, alongside a JIT recompiler for fast emulation, OpenGL rendering with 3D upscaling, and support for savestates. Additional features include RTC, microphone support, joystick compatibility, and various display options. Work in progress includes WiFi for local multiplayer and online connectivity, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. A recent changelog notes fixes, enhancing overall performance.
