melonDS Git (2026/02/11) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a new wave of DS emulators. It features a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, a JIT recompiler for fast performance, and an OpenGL renderer with 3D upscaling. Additional features include joystick support, savestates, and various display options. Work in progress includes Wifi capabilities for local multiplayer, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. The latest changelog removes the “separate savefiles” option due to its unintuitive nature. Users can download the x64 version for enhanced gaming experiences.
