melonDS Git (2026/02/02) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a new wave of DS emulator projects. Features include a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, a JIT recompiler for fast performance, an OpenGL renderer with 3D upscaling, joystick support, savestates, and various display options. Work is ongoing for online multiplayer, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. Recent updates include changes in the source code related to POSIX standards and fixes for command effects. Users can download the latest version for x64 systems.
