melonDS Git (2026/01/21) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a new wave of DS emulators. It features a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, alongside a JIT recompiler for fast performance. Key functionalities include an OpenGL renderer, 3D upscaling, RTC, microphone support, savestates, and various display options. Work-in-progress features involve local multiplayer, online connectivity, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. The latest changelog includes new audio mute options and a fix for a hotkey bug.
