melonDS Git Update (January 26, 2026)

melonDS Git (2026/01/26) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a second wave of DS emulators. Its features include a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, a fast JIT recompiler, OpenGL rendering with 3D upscaling, and support for RTC, microphone, and joystick. It also allows savestates and offers multiple display modes. Work-in-progress features include local multiplayer, online connectivity, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. Recent changelog updates include Wayland support in AppImage releases and improvements to screen sizing hotkeys. Download the latest version for x64 systems.
