NegaMAME v0.279.1 has been released, enhancing the NNegatron front-end for MAME. Initially launched in November 2015, it was the first to fully utilize MAME’s machine configuration options. Although other front-ends have emerged since, changes to MAME in May 2017 limited access to crucial information. In June 2018, Negatron teamed with the NegaMAME derivative, which mirrors official MAME while restoring access to previously lost features for third-party front-ends. This collaboration allows Negatron to reclaim its comprehensive functionality from 2015. Users can download NegaMAME v0.279.1 to benefit from these advancements.
NegaMAME v0.279.1 has been released. NNegatron is a front-end designed specifically for MAME, focusing on user-friendliness and simplicity. This version operates just like the official MAME but incorporates a command that enables third-party front-ends to retrieve the information that has been inaccessible since MAME v0.186, allowing Negatron to restore its full functionality from 2015.
